Japan History

 Did you know that Japan is 40% bigger than New Zealand? It has 100 million people living there. Have you heard everyone gossiping about the cherry blossoms in Japan? The cherry blossoms are not the national flower, they are the second national flower. The national is a Chrysanthemum. Japan is a well-known tourist attraction with flowers and one of a kind shopping centers. Everywhere you go is a beautiful view.  


Culture and Tradition  

Early Japanese culture and tradition are influenced by China.  Edo Era Japan was isolated and closed there borders from the rest of the world. The national bird of Tokyo is a green pheasant why? because every country has a national animal, flower, and more. Japan has lots of unique views it will leave you stunned. 


Location/Geography  

Japan is a small island in the pacific ocean off mainland Asia. Tokyo was a small fishing village where they eat lots of fish and sushi. Edo Era during the 16 century Edo was a small castle town which is 1,600 years. Did you know that it's made up of 6,900 islands. Japan is the content of Asia. Japan is surrounded by the sea. 

Sports 

Japan's national sports are sumo wrestling, judo, and karate. Japan plays other counties' sports such as rugby, baseball, and soccer. The Olympics were supposed to be held in Tokyo in 2020 but they were canceled because of COVID19. The sport Japanese love mostly is baseball and the traditional sport is sumo. 

 

History 

They eat lots of imported fish, most sushi is fulled with browned rice and fish. Sometimes in Tokyo on their diet, they eat pork and beef. Did you know that Tokyo is the cleanest city ever it looks brand new? In 1923 an earthquake struck and took half the city down.  Japan was discovered 11 February 660 bc. 


Conclusion 

Well here we are all finished my information text and I hope you have learned a thing or two. 






In the last few weeks, we have been doing an information text about Japan the teacher picked the topic because of the Olympic that was canceled there because of coronavirus. Did you know this year the medals were going to be made out of recycled phones because they were just getting thrown away with silver, gold, and bronze?
